Privacy policy

Prayer Guard has no accounts. Your prayers, your streak, your highlights and the list of apps you have chosen to block are stored on your iPhone and are not transmitted anywhere. There is no analytics SDK and no advertising SDK in the app.

Blocking is built on Apple’s Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity frameworks, using individual authorization — you managing your own device.

When you choose apps or categories to block, iOS does not give the app a readable list. It gives opaque tokens that are meaningful only on your device and only to this app. Those tokens are written to a shared app group container so the blocking extensions can read them, and they are never transmitted off the device, to us or to anyone else.

Version 1.0 is free and has no subscriptions or in-app purchases.

If you allow notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device for the prayer times you set. Nothing is sent through a push server and no notification content leaves your phone.

Bible texts and written prayers are stored on your device. Opening a Bible passage does not make a network request. Guided audio prayers are fetched from the Dominion API and audio host when you use them. Those requests do not send your prayer history, Bible reading, or app selections.

Prayer Guard has no accounts, user-generated content, or social features. The App Store assigns age ratings by country or region based on the full Bible content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

If a future version of the app collects anything, this page will say so before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
